It's almost here! Our new PlayStation Plus service is launching soon, and we are pleased to share with you an early look at some of the games* that will be included during the launch time frame. As we announced in March, there will be three benefit plans to choose from– all with exciting games to play.

Here's a look at the games to come. Please note titles may vary by local market, and some titles may not be available to stream until after launch, but they will be available to download and play.

Also, players who have previously purchased the digital version of games from the original PlayStation and PSP generation will not have to make a separate purchase or sign up to PlayStation Plus to play these titles on PS4 or PS5. When these titles are released for PS4 and PS5, players can head to PlayStation Store and download a version for the consoles at no extra cost if they already own the digital version of the title. Some of the titles will also be available for individual purchase.

I thought only Returnal was confirmed as the headliner prior to this announcement.

For a ‘patient gaymer’ like me that would pretty much make the mid tier a must have.

Gravity Rush 2 feels like half a game because they turned the online component off for it.

Alot of the challanges such as racing other players ghosts or pictures of the location of a treasure to help you find it make earning a specific currency almost impossible and therefore locking the rewards away forever.

They should consider turning it back on if they are going to sell it as a premium subscription feature, isent that the sort of thing the additional cost is for?

Wow, thats way more than expected. Strong lineup for sure. At least it seems PS is taking this service seriously which bodes well for its future. I feel this is a good middle ground for everyone, buy the games you just cant miss day one and use this service for the in between stuff you may have missed or couldn't get around to. The classics catalogue is pretty piss poor given how much Sony were hyping it up as part of the reason why you should fork over all that extra cash they're charging.

But other than that the main catalogue is a very solid starting line up for sure, unfortunately I own most of these games so I'm not as excited as some are, but I'm happy that more get to enjoy some of these great titles!
