My ringtone: Blood - Dark Carinval
My notification sound: Blood - Cultist screaming

Been using it for years now and still waiting for someone to recognize it, but people only look at me confused or scared when the cultist screams. Still funny tho.

What do you guys use?

Final Fantasy VII victory fanfare as ringtone

Saw this shit when the movie was launched, and even thou most phones back then didn't have MP3, I decided that I needed to have this as soon as possible. It is the same and I don't plan to change

I have the dbz Goku Kamehameha, the super Mario bros coin theme, metal gear solid soldier alert theme, street fighters Ryu fireball theme, and got I plenty more.

People would recognize the dbz, street fighters, and Mario, and some love the Metal Gear Solid theme, but for the new generation there like who is that or what was that lol.

I hear those two quite often, especially the Mario one.

I just use a stock notification sound but I've had the GTA San Andreas theme as my ringtone for like 10+ years

I have the default theme and sounds for my phone.
Never really cared much about it.

When it comes to these things, I favor utility over style. I worked in an amusement park with a lot of noise so my ringtone was quite aggressive, like a thief alarm. Very loud, very nice. I forgot how to change it so i am still using it today. When my phone ring, people jumpscare sometimes, i like it.

I bought a bunch off iTunes. Ones you can’t see are ShenMue’s theme and the Wii Shop Channel music. I kinda feel like I paid someone without a license to use it, but why is it available in Apple’s storefront?

What I’m using now:

I used to have the MGS codec sound for certain notifications.
But these days I set my phone to silent 99% of the time.

The only thing I has the ding sound for text messages from my wife. It's Navi's "Hey! Listen!".

I don't and haven't set personalized ring tones.

An old coworker had the MGS alert sound as his text notification sound. I did not appreciate the Pavlovian response it gave me.

I made a morning alarm from Navi's sounds almost 15 years ago. It really did the trick.

Lupin3

Targeting terrorists with a D-Pad
Silenced 98% of the time, but I do have Sonic rings as notification sound.

people who silence their phone are weird. maybe it's just because i'm not constantly glued to it like everyone else.

and i need to actually respond to people in a timely manner due to work.

i have my sound up full because i sometimes i can't hear it.

I use to have various songs as my ringtone over 10 years ago but i stopped listening to them in the end as i heard them too much, and got sick of them, so now i just use the in phone ones but phone calls are rare now, it's mostly messenger these days anyway.

Yeh I've got a few but my favorite is 'incoming message' in computer lady voice from MechWarrior 2.
