HITMAN – Game of the Year Edition will be released digitally on November 7th 2017 for PS4, Xbox One and PC!
Here’s a full rundown of what’s included:
HITMAN The Complete First Season
New: ‘Patient Zero’ Campaign
New: Clown Suit and themed weapon
New: Raven Suit and themed weapon
New: Cowboy Suit and themed weapon
New: 3 themed Escalation Contracts

Free Game Update/Patch for all players
So, on November 7th we will release the GOTY Edition, which we’ve outlined above – but there’s a whole lot more coming!
Anyone who owns HITMAN will also get a game update on November 7th. We will share the full details of the game update soon, but here’s some of the highlights ahead of time:

– A redesigned UI with a new colour scheme and visual style
A fresh new look across the board and re-organised menus to make it easier to find what you’re looking for.

– New Contracts Mode features
‘Trending’ helps you find the most popular contracts, making sure you can easily find a new challenge. We’re also adding and 10 ‘Conditions’ that will add huge depth to Contracts Mode, such as restricting disguise changes or requiring players to use a specific exit. Anyone who creates a contract will be able to toggle these conditions to set a more defined challenge for their contract.

– Major lighting improvements to all missions
New colour grading, readjusted HDR adaptation rules and re-designed skyboxes mean that our locations look more vivid, vibrant and lifelike.

– Commemorative Elusive Target Unlock
If you played any of the Elusive Targets we released during Season One, we’re giving you an in-game coin to commemorate your progress and thank you for your support.

– Xbox One X Enhancements
A whole host of enhancements are on the way for Xbox One X owners, including options for native 4K and a higher framerate. Specific details to come in a Xbox-specific blog post.

– Tobii Eye Tracking support for PC
Enhance your killer instincts with Dynamic Light Adaptation, Extended View and a new special feature added specifically for HITMAN. Find more details here.

– Various fixes and improvements
Full release notes will be published closer to 7 November. That should be enough time to start thinking about your default loadout for each location…
Oh, and one more thing…

– Elusive Target Re-activation
Starting in November, we will re-activate Elusive Targets. If you missed any Elusive Targets the first time around, or if you are new to HITMAN, this is your chance to experience these intense time-limited targets. All of the suit unlocks are back in play for both new and existing players to complete their collection. If you’ve already completed or failed an Elusive Target, you won’t be able to play that specific contract again; your record for that contract will stand and cannot be altered. Re-activated ET’s will still be time-limited and the first one will be re-activated shortly after the release of our Game of the Year Edition on November 7th.

20€ for the new campaign if you already bought the game/episodes.

LOL.

Good start as independent studio. Fuck them. Tired of this bullshit.

Nice. I only get to play the last two Elusive Targets so it will be great to play the previous ones that I missed out!

€20 is kinda steep for an upgrade. If it were €10, sign me up.

I'll probably end up forking the €20 anyways, but at least let me complain about it first...

My game of the year last year, was playing it last night. More than happy to spend that much on new content and to support the studio for their fantastic post launch support.

20 Euro is quite a lot for a campaign with reworked locations from the main game. Sorry but will wait for a discount.

I'll be curious to see how re-worked the locations are and make my decision off that, because this price is a little steep considering there isn't a new location. Goofy suits/weapons never really did it for me as decent content.

Worst case I wait for a sale, either way this game is fantastic and cannot wait for Season 2.

With IO being free and having the rights to the Hitman series I hope they bring more of its story elements (with how they did cut scenes prior each episode) like how they shifted with Absolution.

Just look at this menacing and suspension cut for example on the prior title.

Call it what you like but Square did try to make it as cinematic with its darker undertones and focused narration through its unforgiving chaos.

Hitman was amazing, I got it on sale at a local retailer for around $12. Will wait for the new mission to drop in price before picking it up. Excited to see the revamped HDR implementation though, always found the current implementation a bit muddy-looking

Still have the online requirement?

I'd imagine so for the elusive target re-runs

As it seems to be the final complete edition i wish theyd leave the elysive targets permantley in a menu and not timed once again, maybe they will when season 1 finally ends

I'm happy to pay $20 and support this studio. They've been great about free updates and support post launch. I can't wait for season two and every bit of support helps.

A new campaign sounds awesome but I hope it goes for sale seperately eventually because it's not worth buying the whole season over again if you already have it.

Really? For all of the great free content they’ve doled out along the way, a steady stream of escalation contracts, elusive targets, Substantial monthly patches that address player feedback, improvements in the tech like HDR, UI, professional mode....

Support the developers, they’ve delivered a ton more value and put so much more care into this game than your average developer.

Well... i still haven't played the complete first season beyond the first mission (i just don't have much time to play games, especialy the ones which has a ton of content that will keep you occupyed for hours and hours) so heh, i'll upgrade sometime next year maybe for a much lower price.

It's still a no for me then. I like the Hitman games, but I don't like online requirements in single player games.

They haven't charged me anything more since January 2016 when I pre-ordered Season 1 so I'll happily pay $20 more for new missions.

And LOL at people complaining about the price. People pay $60 for half-ass sequels (looking at you Destiny 2) and won't pay $20 for a new campaign and a whole bunch of new stuff.

Most people already did by buying the game before all Episodes where released 🤔
So in your logic if you already bought a game you will never buy it's DLCs because, as you said, you already supported the game by buying it at launch.

how about wait until all the seasons are complete then release it on one disc for 60$ ? that would be a lot better

OK, $20 is a little bit too much considering i only bought the game at $20, but enjoy it for like 150 hours now, so i will support when this is out

In my logic I should get the Upgrade for free or cheaper than 20€ because without early adopters the game would've crashed and burned.

Interesting they are unlocking all the elusives but only if you upgrade, not if you own the base game (presumably). Its a bit of a money grab but I can forgive them since they are a independent studio now with no income.

I finished the game on PC and not that much interest in playing through a short new 3-4 hour level (is it even new or just reusing assets?) but I'll probably pick up the GOTY on xbox one X if it goes on sale, but i would kind of be a race between "how fast does the sale happen and how many elusives are left?"
