If you could visit some of your favorite video game cities/towns

You get 10 vacation points to visit some of your favorite video game cities or towns.

How the vacation point works - each point equals one day. If you decide to spend overnight at a city/town than you must use at least 2 points depending on how many days you wanna stay. The minimum amount of point you can use for a citytown is 1 point = one day so can't go lower than that. You could however use all 10 points on a city/town but then you'll only be able to visit that city/town since that's all your vacation points.

You could only choose towns or city location types from the games. You also get 10k in whatever money type they have for shopping.

The location you visit will all look like a realistic version of it while keeping the style so don't worry about being trapped in a old pixel ps1 graphics if you decide to choose a location from there. The city/town will also be lore accurate so say you're choosing like Solitude or Whiterun from Skyrim. You'll visit a lore accurate size version of it instead of the massively downsized ingame version of it.

With all that said, I'll start first.

Lindblum - Final Fantasy IX - the massive Steampunk metropolis style of Lindblum from FFIX has always been one if not my favorite looking city of all times. And I always wanted to visit it if it was real. I'll spend 3 points here cause 1 or even 2 days is definitely not enough to enjoy this massive metropolis.

Alexandria - also from Final Fantasy IX - 2 points here, the screenshots don't do it justice but it's a very beautiful city as with many things in FFIX.

New Vegas The Strip - Fallout New Vegas - 2 point here - Sure I could have visit the real life Vegas but I wanna see the Securitrons and experience the wasteland Vegas. Going to visit all the casinos and the Vault Hotel. The concept art makes it a whole lot bigger than what the game shows.

Vivec - Morrowind - 1 point here - a beautiful and unique city protected by the Ordinators and one of the Almsivi Vivec himself. Would love to visit this place for a whole day.

Balamb harbor and Besaid village are enough for me, if i could add more bonus, i will add dollet or deling city or timber <3

Mintche from Tales pf Eternia is also my fave as well

There are lot of JRPG city are my favorite as well

Gonna pick a few others probably won’t.

Fletz - The Legend of Dragoon

Love the architecture and generally carefree vibe, you have the river running down the middle and the Twin Castle in the backdrop as the capital of the continent of Tiberoa. Astronomy too, always cool.

Celadon City - Pokémon R/B/Y LG/FR

Always enjoyed Celadon as a home base and a comfy city to return to in the Pokémon games. Cool urban setting with the mall, apartments, the Game Corner, and GameFreak itself. At the same time has nice greenery and a park, close by to bicycle path and central to the region. What’s not to like?

Pelican Town - Stardew Valley

A nice place to start over or just escape from every day city life. Cozy town with mostly friendly personalities, cute animals and fun festivities.

Pioneer II - Phantasy Star Online

Futuristic space colony orbiting the planet Ragol, so comfy half the population doesn’t even want to settle on the planet. Lots to do and see despite being self contained, and honest grindy work always available.

Seafront - NieR Replicant

Coastal town mostly insulated from the shades, some cool lore involving a lighthouse. Tons of fishing to do with a bustling market, pub, postal service. Not bad for such a bleak world and a very peaceful soundtrack to boot.

And ok, one I think will be popular but I want to include it anyway…

Kalm - Final Fantasy VII Rebirth

The architecture, the population density, the amount of things to do. It’s an economic and tourist center in a world being depleted of mako, it’s mostly a paradise. Even with Shinra and Midgar so close, it thrives and has its own culture. It was really brought to life in Rebirth and would be an incredible place to visit.

“I am Andrew Ryan, and I am here to ask you a question. Is a man not entitled to the sweat of his brow?

'No,' says the man in Washington, 'it belongs to the poor.'
'No,' says the man in the Vatican, 'it belongs to God.'
'No,' says the man in Moscow, 'it belongs to everyone.'

I rejected those answers. Instead, I chose something different. I chose the impossible. I chose… Rapture. A city where the artist would not fear the censor. Where the scientist would not be bound by petty morality. Where the great would not be constrained by the small. And with the sweat of your brow, Rapture can become your city as well.”
