Glad to see Fist do well, granted I have no intrest in that franchise but with any luck it will keep Koei going down the route of side Muso games and I will get another Gundam Muso, hopefully this time I will get a Zero Custom and a true Turn X instead of the shit they tried to pass off in 2.


That and I am still holding out hope they will do a Go Nagi family version one day so I can tear shit up with Getter G, Neo Getter and Grendizer. Sure it will never happen but a guy can dream right?

Best opening for the Musou series in 5 years. The last title which sold more in the first week was Dynasty Warriors 5 (SSM4). The first week of Hokuto Musou has also outsold the LTD of most Musou game in the last 5 years except Samurai Warriors 2, Orochi PS2 and Orochi 2 PS2. That's only counting the PS3 version btw.

So what's up with the God of War series in Japan? So Capcom published the first 2 GOW games in Japan and is also did it for GOW collections which was released last week. So what is up with the God of War Trilogy? Is it just GOW III with GOW collections? Does Capcom still get some of the profits? Why didn't Sony just publish it in the first place? So many questions.

Also, hows the Box art for GOW Trilogy?

Because it's not made from a japanese company. If GOW were made by Capcom, Sega or Konami, it would reach at least 500k sales.

End of school year / spring holidays is at the end of March (you SHOULD know that from Persona anyway :p)

Seems like all Musou games have pretty long legs.

All PS3 incarnations have pretty much doubled their first week sales. So I'll say another 100-150k next week is likely.

btw, great to see a mixed top 10 for once!

So expecting 800k lifetime from this Musou game is not ridiculous.. That is quite near to 1 million they expected.. Everybody was laughing at their claim. :$

Yup, atleast PS3 is getting constant stream of softwares and always having two or three titles in top 10.. that is quite impressive. although still PS3 has not gotten any leggy software which can stay for ages in top 30.. but i think after Move it may change a bit..

Maybe you're right, but that's not my point when I said that. If GOW3 were made by a big japanese company (that's why I mentioned Konami, Sega or Capcom), unmodified and exactly the way it is, it would be a major seller there. I don't know why they behave like this because, IMO, GOW3 has a very japanese style friendly gameplay.

So Silent Hill: Shattered Memories bombed on all three consoles. I wasn't expecting the game to do big numbers but c'mon, at least one or two versions should be on the top 30 :/
