I'm talking about Japan but even worldwide isn't the best selling Prime at 1,5M? It's not impossible for Other M to outsell it. Unless you mean combined. Now that I think of it (Famitsu):

Prime did something like 3m worldwide. It was 1.5m in NA alone, partially thanks to the game being bundled in the Failure Pack.

That could be the case, but it's still a discrepancy. 30K or 90K, or almost anything over 15K really, should show up on the Famitsu Top 500 list. They didn't, so Famitsu either figured them at selling much less or stopped tracking them for whatever reason.

IIRC, that's what happened. They were about the same after one year, but then it fell off Famitsu's list and continued on in MC's.

Interestingly enough, 3 of that top 5 on the PS3 in Japan came out within the last 4 months.

wow, that ps2 top ten is really amazing. this is what a console's final moments look like.

It had a good run. I can't remember any other console receiving as many significant releases so late in its life-cycle since the NES. The PS1 might have had a 10 year lifespan, but it wasn't receiving anything that approached the level of quality found in games like God of War 2, Persona 3 and 4, etc, by years 7-9.
