Probably because Pokémon is sold only through download cards, and those aren't counted by MC.

Wait till MH4 shows up next month - i guess there will be many new 3DS owners who will check out the current catalog of titles, the same will happen once Pokemon hits. Nothing stops the 3DS train this year.

Hey, at least Yakuza 1 & 2 HD for Wii U is the 5th best selling Japanese Wii U third-party release of this year. When you put it this way it doesn't look that bad.

There have only been 5 Japanese third-party releases for Wii U during the first 8 months of the year.

Clearly everyone who'd have purchased Yakuza was on Comiket and probably getting heat strokes because of the massive heat wave. All of these factors contributed to the poor sales, and Pokemon Centers were also all empty.

Seriously though, that's pretty terrible. And I'm glad to see Dragon's Crown still doing great. Fantastic game, VW deserves every sale it gets.

Great legs for Mario & Luigi but it's still selling well below expectations. Too bad.

Damn you SEGA and Nintendo, wasting money on that Yakuza port while I'm waiting for PSO2.

3DS keeps on beasting and will continue throughout the rest of the year with Monster Hunter 4 and Pokemon X/Y. The numbers are bound to be insane this holiday.
