Dragon's Crown PS3 sales dropped... must be stock issue!

On the other hand, Bandai Namco is really having success on 3DS in Japan.

Mario and Luigi is actually doing very decently. I wonder how long the legs will continue, and if mh and pokemon will help or hurt it.

Ah, sorry about that. It can be hard to tell at times when it comes to system sales.


Looks like Dream Team is recovering from a slow start. Depending on how it sells through the next few months, it might not end that far from the first two M&L games.

Luigi's Mansion should hopefully reach 1 million. Where's that comparison to DKCR? It was fascinating to see. Glad to also see M&L4 keep selling - hopefully it gets rid of the first shipment before the bargain bins.

Also nice HW bumps all around. Obon delivered.

Nice seeing a bump in overall sales, and 3DS dominating the top... even if most of the games are ones I have zero interest in.

Luckily I'm still playing Dragon Quest VII. What value!

Also, I've been wringing about buying a Wii U for months, and am always surprised when people do before me. I'm going to now wait and see what holiday offers there are.

Funny how close that is to pikmin 2. Pikmin 3 Wii could have been a million seller imo if they had gotten it out say 2008. Nintendo had some weird smaller franchise management on Wii.
Am I the only one pretty relieved by Mario&Luigi's legs? The game didn't exactly initially set the charts on fire, but this week it performed better than I expected.

Man, handheld is GOD in Japan and they buy the games on Obon to appreciate it.

50k difference between Dragon's Crown PS3 and PSV, and the number keep widening :(

Animal Crossing definitely cannibalized bigger sales for Tomodachi Collection 2. Really poor scheduling from Nintendo. Still both did fantastic.

I thought last week was pretty stabilized (almost the same numbers but down on mc and famitsu and up on dengeki).

Either way, good numbers for everything. My hopes are in next week. Go W101! You NEED to sell more than Lego, dammit!

It stabilized last week, but the Wii U had the lowest Obon increase out of any active system.

So its "rising sales" are kind of like a double-edged sword.

I still think the Wii U will fall to a ~7K baseline.

any word on how the demand was? I know its been said it only shipped 30K units for the initial shipment

Yeah, it wasn't a good increase, no doubt about it. No excuses. At MC it got a bigger increase, but we know MC numbers for Wiiu are always bigger than Famitsu. Either way, at least it's still mantaining a better pace than before Pikmin, so, we can say that our little friends helped the system a little.

And the demand for W101 is all over the place. Hard to judge it, but it doesn't seem good. I think at least it's a lock that it will surpass Lego. If not, man...

Wow, 3DS dominated both hardware and software this week. Also, it seems that despite being on Wii U Pikmin 3 has some legs after all. Can't wait to pick up my copy when I get my Wii U. Mario and Luigi and even Yokai Watch are still hanging in there. Pretty nice bump for all hardware in general. Nice to see Vita still doing well, it needs to start selling more software though.

It really is interesting to observe how holidays affect sales.
