The article says SWC2nd was an "enhanced update of the first with more content", while I thought it was a proper sequel. Thus, its result is actually pretty good, and now I understand why they were already almost satisfied when it was at 60k (this was the time when that tweet was made, IIRC).
Maybe we'll see it next year, after SW4 releases. Having the MH4 audience on board should help sales as well.
Believe it or not, Samurai Warriors Chronicles is my most played 3DS game to date (just ahead Virtue's Last Reward). I would LOVE for another Samurai Warriors game on 3DS, seriously. Please do it, Tecmo-Koei. Forget about Sony consoles for 5 seconds
capcom could be doing mhp3rd numbers if it wasn't for them failing to ship out enough copies
It was the same for MHP3 apparently. And Monster Hunter is a huge franchise in Japan. If a player can't find it in store, he's not gonna think "oh crap, not buying it then". He's gonna look online/at other stores/buy it on eShop if he really wants it. This is not some niche game where such shortages would really hurt.
Brain Age: Concentration Training in number 6? The hell?
Maybe some store-wide promotion or something.
