They made a sequel. It didn't do very well.

Then that same developer made a very good fighting game for DS called Dragon Ball Kai: Ultimate Butouden. It also didn't do very well.

Game Republic made some bombas on PS3/360, and now they no longer exist.

Seriously, it looks a good deal worse than Dragon Quest IX. Some damn newer textures and AA would do a great deal, Namco.

It's also an Arcade port, so it likely has a built-in audience already, unlike pretty much every other recent DB games.

Biggest Vita game since Ys in September, but actually more impressive because it's been selling for weeks. Giving me Etrian Odyssey teas.

And checking back, we can say LBX W and AKB bombed reeeeeally hard, and I'm talking about the PSP version of each game. Invisible legs.

Having just completed the game, it doesn't surprise me. It's a really awesome, high quality game. And unlike most Vita games, it's not available on another platform.

That's what makes it even worse. The card based Dragon Ball arcade games have been using the assets from the PS2 games made by Dimps. The 3DS port looks considerably worse than arcade version, with featured anti-aliasing, and ran at a respectable frame rate. The frame rate part is what kills me, as it's a card game, lol.

It's a card game. I wouldn't expect anything better. It will sell mainly to kids that don't give a shit about graphics or framerate, as long as it's funny.
