Microsoft PR got a stability update.
Wasn't this because it was almost impossible to get a PS4?
Wasn't COD ghost for X1 practically given away in July for 19.99 or less at many retailers.
Perhaps the Luigi stare needs to go more viral!Wait for the word of mouth of Mario Kart 8 and the Treehouse awesome stream at E3 to spread a too, and you'll see...
You'll seeeeee....
They said "the momentum continued" as in, sales either stayed the same (good) or increased.
So... who's gonna have the balls to make a leak site and pm everyone the address? ;p
I wonder if it keeps the Sony PR person up at night that they can never use the "PS4 has been leading since launch" line. I know I'd be bother to hell about it. Maybe when he walks into his office, he has a torn out calendar page of December 2013, a reminder of what could have been.December 2013 by about 50k during heavy PS4 shortages
Oh yeah. That too. Wonder where NCAA would have placed.Primary reason software is down yoy is because EA stopped making NCAA games.
Well, damn. Why in July in particular?
Nice result for TLoU. Deserves that top spot.
Wii U bump didn't happen then. I'm truly shocked, honest.
I still don't get why/how that many people are willing to pay more than 30$ for a one year old remaster though.
Need the combo for this thread.

What else they got? And the doubling wasn't all that impressive because May's numbers were so bad. There really is nothing good in XB1's July numbers so they have to manufacture something, anything, in order to have a positive press release. The July NPD press release on August 14th refers to the June doubling of sales?

Like, December? Supply shortages, y'know?
Last month, the bump was going to be this month. The bump was a wrinkle.bump was last month
this is the stabilization
I think it went from about 28k/week to 20k/week (June was 5 weeks)
Some racing game or other was released at the arse end of last month. Why should the Wii U bump?
Nice month without surprises.
Microsoft is ecen more vague than usual though.

It was 3, no?Damn, TLOU did quite well for itself for being on sale for five days. Granted, it was the only major new release this month, but still.
Already done. WiiU ~81k.
One month till Polygon eats crow?
It was 3, no?
You mean like that site that popped up last month?
Dunno man, hopefully they pull through again...after the usual suspects have some fun being mathematicians with early numbers of course

Yeah, it's just as fun either way. Actually it's more fun having the guessing game and then getting in the hard figures once that's done. I can't remember if last NPD had any major meltdowns tho. After that leak last month, I wouldn't expect any outright and direct leaks. Perhaps our sources here can point in the right direction, but that's all I think we're gonna get.
NPD Ninjas are watching.
No real numbers on PS4 or XB1?

Oh yeah. Felt like that was forever ago. That was the time some of my friends were saying, "Sony is purposely making this shortage like Nintendo did with the Wii."
Some racing game or other was released at the arse end of last month.
Diablo III possibly but defo Madden.
Video game sales are extremely frontloaded for a lot of console games.Wait a minute: did TLOU:R was the best selling game even though was tracked for 5 days only? 0.0
Software
1. The Last of Us (PS4, PS3)
Eh, you might be right, it all blurs into one. I thought for some reason there was an expectation that sales would be notably affected again this month.wait, what?
didn't it do like 140k in June? that was the bump
I must be missing a joke or something haha
