Alright, a big apology to my fellow New Yorkers but we're finally going to do a meetup at The Gaf West Bar on Saturday, February 18th. There's more interest in going to the Gaf Bar on the west side. Repeat: We are going to the Gaf Bar on 48th Street, not the one of 1st ave. Let's show other gaffers that New York class. We're meeting up at 8pm for pregaming. When it gets lame we're going bar hopping around the area. Just in case, bring your metrocards. For the Gaf West Bar, you can take the A, C, E to either 42nd St - Port Authority or 50 St station. The 1 and 2 trains also stop at 50th st. Driving? Ha, good luck with parking. The Gaf Bar seems like your typical dive bar. It says they serve food but I'm suggesting everyone should eat before meeting.

There's going to be a SECOND meetup on Monday, February 13th at 9pm. The place will be at Third & Long, a sports bar. Come join us for $2 domestic beers. Unfortunately they do not do dollar beers on Mondays anymore. If you're not a beer drinker, they also do buy one get one free on any wine. Fuck your Valentines day plans, you don't have a date anyways. GAF will be your Valentines this year. Enough drinks in us and we'll put out. This place does not serve food so eat beforehand!

James, the tradeoff is that during the weekends some subway lines don't run at all, or are diverted so it takes longer to get around. Some buses even stop running after a certain time.

You can take the 1/C/B to 86th street on the west side and catch the M86 bus to go across town

Some of us from NYC-GAF have gotten to know each other through the RealPic community as well as through TinyChat/IRC. It won't be as awkward when we meet in person as we already have a general idea of what we all look like/how we sound/how we behave.

Definitely come. I know jason from the last meetup and everyone who came was really cool (20s-30s).
