How do I know that I'm using the best gear for my class? Nothing is labeled specifically by class by but bonus and improvement. I get that I should then look for gear with bonuses that suit my class and playstyle, but I wonder if there's something out there that is optimal and centric to my Monk. I hear that some item drop rates are pretty low so I don't know if I'm suffering that or I'm just not switching to gear that I find. I am also still very early, only lvl 7.

At your level, item rarity, life regen and evasion, plus whatever +dmg you can find. The passive tree kind of shows priorities when you are close to the start point. Don't forget that a white base can quickly be turned into blue with currency and have more affixes added and then turned into rare. So its worth keeping and 'gambling' on an appropriate base, which as a monk I'm guessing is evasion/armour or straight evasion. But haven't played one yet to be sure.

Obviously if you craft a bad magic item off the bat, don't double down with more currency. Just get rid of it. Plus if you get decent yellows early on that don't look like they will work for your class, stick them in the stash for alts. Helps a lot.

Never been a guild guy in arpgs, but I must say this time is different, seeing as the loot is scarce and need to be crafted, leaving the stuff you used in the guild stash gives really good Samaritan vibes, it's satisfying 😅 this is the first time I didn't disenchant a single rare in a game😂😂 there will be time on next leagues to do that, now it's just character gameplay testing for me 😁

I love how the first act boss is balanced. Died with 3 of the 4 classes I've beaten him with. Warrior was the only one unscathed. It's a good gauge to see if you're ready for act 2. My sorc is squishy. Also, playing all classes makes me not have to deal with anything unbalanced in late game/end game. By the time I get there, it will be much better. :D

Does anyone have any guess on how many acts will be in the final product? Def enjoying this game so far.

Is hideouts endgame only? When do you access that?

I found a +5 melee skills monk staff. It doesn't have any %phys damage mods on it, but if someone wants to throw a couple of exalts at it to roll the dice, it's in the gear library.

So, each Trial grants us 2 skill points for our ascendancy?

Was respeccing some passives thinking I could use them for my Blood Mage skills, but guess not.

So, 6 ascendancy skill points is what are able to unlock for now?

The act 2 boss was tough. Needed me to rejig my skills and supports as well as use a few runes to increase some resist.

Even then though it took me a while to learn the patterns (playing when really tired does not help with this) and once I had those down it went pretty smoothly.

Pro tip for anybody going titan, crushing blows pretty much means you never see the setup for boneshatter proc as when it would normally proc it just heavy stuns enemies instead. Still deciding if I like this or not or what the best combo to use is. Sunder is good at deleting enemies but it is pretty slow. Leap slam is also good and either of those combined with armour break is pretty powerful against rares and bosses.
