As for Peter Dinklage, always be weary of celebs trying to push political stuff. Almost a guarantee it’s a self serving statement for image or career.
Like other midgets in media, he’s done his share of stereotypical dwarfy parts early in his career too. It’s not like he jumped to Game of Thrones on day one of his career. So he’s played the game.
No different than a restaurant owner early in his career being a cook, waiter or bartender. You do the grind and maybe it leads to something bigger and better decades later. But just because you are now an owner of a restaurant it would be pretty weird to suddenly bash low level food jobs like he did 20 years ago. Give other people a chance at a job too.

Comparing their performances from the trailer, Zegler is more talented. Her singing is especially exceptional.The media shill is trying their best to put the blame on Gal Gadot, shifting the negative spotlight away from Zegler.
Its not working.
I didn't realize others noticed. I've been watching closely hoping Gal would be able to reach another level in her acting that could benefit her Cleopatra movie.
Snow White looks good in that pic.
That and the headline should really work up a frenzy for those trying to cancel Zegler.
If the film succeeds and credited to Zegler they'll completely lose their minds.

This would've been one of those straight to tv,vhs,dvd with a non theatrical release movies 20/25 years ago.
I could care less about these short of movies, since it's not something I would even consider watching as an adult.
I do however have a daughter in the age range they're marketing too, which she has no interest in any of these live action Disney movies. She has watched trailers, or we suggested movies and she goes, "no thank you". We don't plant the seed of doubt, we let her take in what is being shown and she has no interest. Keep in mind this is one child. Maybe there are tens or hundred of thousands of kids that think this is the "bee's knees" but box office sales will tell.
Disney is just coming off like a unorganized circus that has only hired clowns.

He’s not afraid of the actual part of live action dwarves being played by small people. He’d never do that kind of part again.
But he’s afraid of any midgets get noticed in a Disney movie suddenly he’s got competition for any bigger better parts which he’s probably the most famous dwarf actor right now.
As usual, self serving celebs. Pretty sad.
If he really cared, he’d actually be a mentor to midgets in acting or trying to open up more roles like a union rep trying to save jobs.
In reality, he’s actually automating the roles away treating those jobs like a robotic assembly line.
It’s such an odd view he’s got since it goes totally against human nature. Anyone growing up sick or disabled or in this case a dwarf, you’d think they always be supportive of fellow people in the same situation.
His view is like someone growing up sick with cancer, but is cancer free at 40 so things are good now. Instead of being supportive or a rich guy being charitable to sick people like he was, suddenly he says the gov should reduce healthcare for sick people. He’s already disease free and rich so he doesn’t care. If he needs treatment if cancer comes back he already has private insurance going to a top hospital so he’s good.

He should change his last name to dicklage.
He's in the upcoming film The Dwarf which is about an actual dwarf (little person, midget, whatever is the term these days) so he is still doing stuff where his height is a key factor. Then he does stuff like I Care a Lot where I'm not sure he is actually a dwarf character, everyone just kind of ignores it. His "tough guy" roles in stuff like The Thicket and likely in The Wild Bunch will also probably ignore his height as much as possible. So I'm not sure he is trying to corner the dwarf market so much as just bitching about how his entire early career was nothing but obvious dwarf roles. Kind of like how a paraplegic actor could probably play "normal" characters that just always happen to be sitting or lying down or that algerian/french guy that just tucked his paralyzed arm into his pocket "Bob Dole-style" and then went on playing a soldier in WW2 or whatever.
Do agree the comment that fantasy dwarves shouldn't be real dwarves is dumb. What does he think all those mythic "little people" legends were probably based on?
