Sony Adds a Whopping 371 New Purchaseable Cloud Games

February saw a seismic shift in PlayStation’s cloud gaming landscape. Sony have unleashed a staggering 371 new titles onto its streaming service in just the last week – our script searching for new cloud games runs weekly. This unprecedented expansion dramatically bolsters the PlayStation Cloud library. Offering subscribers an overwhelming array of gaming experiences, from beloved classics to modern favorites. The new cloud gaming titles include the ever popular HELLDIVERS 2 and Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2.
The sheer volume of additions signals a major push by Sony to solidify its position in the cloud gaming arena – promising a veritable feast for players seeking instant access to a vast and diverse catalog. All in all, there are now over 1,850 PlayStation cloud games by our count.
Unfortunately, these purchasable PlayStation cloud games can only currently be played on an actual PS5. But, we expect the PlayStation Portal cloud gaming library to expand to include these purchaseable cloud gaming titles, in the future. This would make the PlayStation Portal a fantastic entry into the world of Playstation for a very small cost. And after the recent talks surrounding the PlayStation Portal and cloud gaming from the CEO, this appears to be even more appropriate.

I would be surprised if PS Portal Cloud Streaming is in beta for more than a year, that's generally not Sony's style.

At the end of this beta, I wouldn't be surprised if we see an expansion to Android (and TV) and of course iOS.

The former. You get the cloud version with the purchase of your game.

It's still a curated list. I think they are up to 230 games on the Portal Cloud now.

While they're in the app store Android/iOS users can get RetroArch and play the best 20 years of PS games for free.
Nintendo has it much worse than PS but neither can safely steer their users towards other OSes without spelling their own demise.
PS games are forever tied to PS HW and anything that takes PS gaming off of PS HW is a move in the wrong direction.
PS and Nintendo using emulation/streaming to avoid baking inexpensive legacy HW into new consoles is a massive mistake.

I did it solo, got all the Xbox achievements. I think they’ve added more though. It was certainly challenging, but very fun.
