So for the sake of being a non-conformist, MGS3 fucking blows!
NO YOU DO NOT.Marconelly said:I played it during the daytime and it was damn creepy. Then I wished I had played it during the night.

Skip MGS2. Not necessary.DrLazy said:I haven't played MGS 2 and didn't finish the first one. Should I start with this one or will I be confused?
Just wait until the prologue ends, and you get a bit further into the main part before you start complaining, OK?This had better be good. MGS2 made me break things it sucked so hard.

Absolutely LOVED MGS. Probably my favorite game of that gen. Which is why MGS2's extreme suckitude was such a letdown to me.Wario64 said:Did you like MGS1?

Hey, I thought it was great. But for me, MGS3 has made it irrelevant. Regarding what would make MGS2 unique (thus worthwhile), the level design is largely forgettable and I didn't enjoy the story.Fight for Freeform said:Wha/?!?! Don't skip MGS2! Well, I loved it...

morbidaza said:Just beat the game. Kills me to say it (since I don't have a ps2...played over the course of about 4 days on my step sister's), but this definitely stole my goty from Ninja Gaiden quite easily. Not so much towards the beggining, but as the game went on, it just got better...and better.
Could someone please refresh my memory on something in mgs2?What exactly was the signifigance of the patriots in the end of the game. I seem to remember something regarding codes of some sort, but could be way off base.
But a truly fantastic game, better than mgs2 by a very long ways.
