Here's a thread that may help PC Gamers:

Post here if you have any issues on the performance of a game, so that other posters may help you solve it, OR post here your experience with various games not running well, and what you did to solve those issues.

And please, no answers like "I bought a better GPU" - we're talking about what solved your issues with your CURRENT hardware.

Yes, I understand that your GPU, CPU, RAM, monitor all play a part in such issues. However, some games seem to have performance issues whether you have a 4060 or a 4090. Anything that helped your case may end up helping another person's case. You never know.

Final Fantasy XV (STEAM)
ISSUE: Game used to stutter on certain areas like Lestalum.
SOLUTION: Switched DLSS to TAA in the game's anti-aliasing settings and the stutters went away.

Godfall (STEAM)
ISSUE: Game would run at 40fps, no matter what resolution and graphical settings I had.
SOLUTION: Went to nvidia graphics settings, chose the specific configuration of Godfall, and told nvidia to play the game at a fixed 60 fps.
Game now runs flawlessly.

Dead Island Remastered Edition (STEAM)
ISSUE: Game would stutter at numerous locations like the church, dropping to 30-40 fps.
SOLUTION: Went to nvidia graphics settings, chose the specific configuration of Dead Island, and told nvidia to play the game at a fixed 60 fps.
Game now runs flawlessly.
