My "insight" is that they're clearly evading taxes and that they're going to end the same way every other Italian website with good prices did sooner or later.
i can't see this being more than £350 no way they are going to cost it more than a ps5, if you shop about you can get that for about £380.
For the tech it's got regardless if you can hook it to a tv i will be surprised, i guess considering what they charge for games they love their money so i'll be a sucker and buy it anyways
400$ maximum is what I expect from Nintendo. They will likely have adjusted hardware (= make it as weak as necessary) to be able to meet that price point.
For what is worth it's my first time hearing it, as well.
Then again it's been years since I paid close attention to retail businesses related to videogames and hardware.
The unit was revealed in expensive Pro controller black to signify the launch isn't for kids or adults without the means to pay high launch prices IMO. I expect this to cost at least £489, if not £549, just to make space for not having to cut Switch 1 pricing drastically.
I forget what I paid for a launch day Switch, think it was £379, and just adding inflation I think £100 will be getting added, if not more.
I can't believe so many "enthusiasts" are hoping it's cheap and weak over more capable.
The Switch was already barely more powerful than the Wii U. We've been waiting forever and people would rather have another 7+ years of several generations behind hardware if it saves them $100?
Why is everyone here so mad the price is lower? Do you like spend money on cheap stuff? If gamers could use two neurons, they would never accept consoles in a price any higher than that.
Btw, can you preorder in Italy from other European countries?

Yeah because the system is bought by way more non enthusiast than enthusiast. Nintendo is more concerned about moving software so they need to make the hardware just appealing enough without costing an arm and a leg. Anything over $399.99 things get dicey.
