Anonymous Gran Turismo Developer says Sony doesn't listen to developers or community

I don't need any dev to tell me what I can see with my own eyes.

Sony hasn't listened to their community for years, which explains many of their bizarre decisions leading to cataclysmic flops.

Pushing on Live service and GAAS crap. Well change happened recently in the leadership, hopefully it will be much better Sony this time. But about GT especially GT7, I dont see any issues with the game. It is impressive and me and my brothers is enjoying the game up to now.

I feel like SONY should make an opportunity to change your PSN location, rather than each individual game using PSN to make a port to change location. It doesn't make sense that a company as big as PlayStation doesn't have an option to change location after creating the account. I would be OK if it's a tedious process, but I feel like it should be able. I moved from The Netherlands to Japan 4 years ago, and my account was made there. Its crazy that I as an employee can change where I'm moving in real life, but can't do so digitally.

Perfect example of this guy not knowing/seeing the bigger picture.

Sony doesn't want to do this because people would more easily take advantage of regional pricing.

For example you can buy EA FC in Brazil right now for 349 BRL which equates to 59.95. The game currently costs 69.99 in the US. This guy might like the idea of how convenient it would be to change locations at whim, but he doesn't care/understand about the larger implications of that.

It’s pretty obvious Sony does not listen, this is similar to Ubisoft about 10 years ago, we see how it turned out for them, i’m hoping the same doesn’t happen for Sony, but there are quite a few similarities, from game design, forced diversity, output choices, you can make a game how you want but it has to follow this specific structure, in other words you can’t make a game how you want, chasing trends instead of innovating etc. But why are we listening to some random loser on Reddit who’s probably full of shit.

Aren't polyphony digital one of the most consumer friendly developers out their? I know they've been updating gran turismo 7 like crazy with free stuff and expanding its content and features consistently.
