You know what they took out ASAP upon finding a bug? Tess Everis' Bureaucratic Walk Dance emote from her Bright Silver purchase inventory. It seems priority is given to items that affect real world economy.
That "real world economy" item (I'm assuming you mean to imply that they prioritized this because they are so money-grubbing)... removing it from the store isn't exactly something that benefits them in terms of profit.
That emote can be abused to gain a gamebreaking competitive advantage. It is the worst kind of a bug because it's both harmful to the play experience of players when leveraged by other players, and involves something that is not by default available to all players.
Obviously the fact that the prestige Nightfall is broken for this strike should be a priority issue to hotfix, but "inability to complete the Prestige Nightfall for this strike" isn't on the same level as "people who have this cosmetic item can abuse it to gain a competitive advantage over other players." They are an order of magnitude apart in terms of triage.
Heh. Seems like it's always controversial to suggest this, like I'm being completely unreasonable, but I'll try one more time. If you find yourself saying "Fuck _____" where the blank is the
developer of a videogame you're playing, stop playing that game, immediately, forever. I don't get why anyone does this to themselves and I've never heard a good answer.
It's just not worth it. Play games and patronize developers that you like and want to support.
Don't mean to be asking you in particular for justification btw sephi. I see this shit all the time, so my suggestion is rhetorical. Maybe I will convince someone else out there who for reasons unexplained simply cannot stop playing a game they hate.
So uh, a new special bundle at Eververse today.
2000 silver (so I think $20) for 7 Bright Engrams, 7 copies of the Golden Trace shader, 500 Bright Dust and a ship that's apparently exclusive to the bundle.
One Bright Engram is 200 silver so I guess the extra 600 silver is for the 7 shaders, the ship and 500 Bright Dust. Honestly not sure if that's a deal or not.
Haha. Nothing involving Eververse/Silver is "a deal." Only consider spending any real-world money if you want to 100% support Bungie and the current state of Destiny 2 development.
