you can't repair weapons right?
Nope just create new ones, once they break. That's why you can upgrade schematics but not weapons. You're meant to find your favourites and level them up and keep crafting them!
makes sense, you can't upgrade weapons only schematics
Careful not to just pump all your XP into one schematic though you can upgrade it too high and make it require things you cannot farm until later levels thus kinda looking you out of said weapon!
Do legendary weapons have set upgrade stats? I got a good rifle but it oddly has two upgrades for fire rate which is, didn't know if there was a chance to find the same legendary blueprint but with different upgrade bonuses.
After the servers went dead yesterday today is the first time I can really try out the game.
Look out for my soon to come questions OT
I have probably put in 10+ hours into this and there are still things that confuse me.
The latest is the evolution of weapons, I unlocked an weapon evolution ability in the skill tree and was fully expecting to evolve my epic sniper only to find I couldn't. The ability I unlocked seems to be for something else totally different which allows you to use materials to craft weapons. I don't think you can unlock level 2 weapons until the second tier skill tree?
This game is overwhelming.
Can you farm blasting powder (needed to craft alot of the guns)? If so, where? Is it black coal nodes in the mines/caves etc? I see you get some from recycling other guns which is what I'm doing at the moment.
It's craftable, go in your backpack and it should be above the duct tape. Don't remember the two items it needs but look in the menu.
What's up with this weird-ass pricing scheme, I was excited for the game but I'm not buying it if this is how they're going to sell it.
So should I upgrade my "blue" hero if in the next pinata I can get "purple" version of him? Won't I regret it because of lost exp?
From what I know some part of XP will be refunded but how much? And will it be refunded if I put hero on my collection book?
What's weird about it? Base game, base game with free guns and Llamas or a pack you can share with a friend.
A few games are doing that at the moment.
Yeah, I think it's pretty good. The only thing that's questionable is the limited ($150) version, it should really contain 3 base game copies for friends, since it's a fucking 4-player co-op game. Borderlands 2 did the 4-pack on Steam for $150 at launch, no reason Epic can't here.
how do you level a hero pass level 10?
Just to confirm... there is no way to mess with your backpack /inventory in the starting menus, correct? Only while actually playing a map?
Full breakdown of all PS4 Pro Enhancements over on the PS Blog. Might be worth adding to the OP:

You linked the wrong article.
This sounds too useful. PS4 Pro, optimized for the Outlander Class.
We need MOAR enemies, MOAR waves, MOAR evil spawn points... 20 missions in, and our base always come out pristine. Fortnite is too easy?
😰Looks like the game is mostly cold received among my friends :/
Gameplay is fun but all the systems are super confusing

I may be getting this Friday, so quick question. Can I have a decent amount of fun playing alone before jumping into the online fray?
In my experience you can't play alone per se, you will automatically be matched with other players in most missions.
I may have missed something but I am pretty positive on this.
how do you level a hero pass level 10?
You sure? I've had 100% success switching from Public to Private in the ESC menu for solo exploring.
Not had too many games yet mind.
I was not aware of that option, does this work with the actual main questline missions or just when you randomly pick a mission to do on the map ?
If so, very good to know, thanks !
I'm having fun but trying to balance my enjoyment of exploring and looting with not pissing my teammates off in MP. I enjoy solo but it's a snail-like progression and I have yet to have a mission ruined in any way due to others on my team.
Any tips as I'm about to dive in?
