Uploading a new video of the Cobra now with 100% sure the wheel isn't misaligned. Results are... interesting.

Meant to do it sooner but only had time now.

This has been one awesome thread to read, I'll miss it but look forward to the GT6 Vs. Forza 5 thread.

I'm still team Forza by a mile.

Want to know something about that picture?

It was a promotional demo version. It's worth nothing :p Trolololoooooool!

Wow. Looks so more mature now.

Demo? cant you play the entire game with that? Aren't you playing forza with this version?

So why has the discussion turned entirely to graphics? Did everyone just agree that GT5 is the better racing sim?
GT fans approach in this thread has been about graphics 90% of the time.

Calm down shinnn, dude said he had multiple copies of the game. Don't get your panties all moist over things like that.

Apologies for the stupid angle, I had no better place to hold it.

You can see I purposely put it more than once running diagonally into one direction and let it run to show it's going straight, and then the car goes to the opposite side.

It did go in a straight line one time, but I think I wasn't on full gas that time.

So you are implying that you have a special copy of GT5

The way I always saw these 2 games. In terms of their graphical quality anyways.

GT tends to be more real, in a sense it's more what you would see in real life, with your own eyes.

Forza tends to look more like something that came out of a car ad.

Got a strange feeling that GT6 and FM5 are both going to blow us away with down-and-dirty photo realistic game graphics pretty much indistinguishable from TV motorsports coverage.

Last I heard the community agreed that it does not have torque steer.

For the record, I never said it did or it didn't. I only defended Wax when people (read: deranged fanboy) accused him of lying by intentionally turning the wheel.

But to be honest, now that I did these last tests, and not just those u see on the vid, I actually do think it does have torque steer, but not as accentuated as it should be. There's no other explanation as to why a car going slightly to the left, will end up turning to the right.

PD and Kaz are the originals. They are the pioneers. Kaz is a master and his team of magicians have weaved pure magic since GT1. PD's passion and dedication to all things automotive is something to behold. They have given us pure porn in the form of multitudes of vehicles and playgrounds to drive them in. Respect needs to be given to Kaz and his tireless efforts, for it was Kaz and the GT franchise that had an effect on none other than Dan Greenawalt, the man behind Forza Motorsport..

What has to be said, and most I think would agree, is that Forza Motorsport has come a long way. What used to be a 1 horse race has now turned into 2. Forza was mocked from the beginning and touted as a wannabe GT. I remember when people said that Turn 10 and FM wasn't going to last. Well, 4 games and a spin off later, they are still here. Dan and Turn 10 has worked ridiculously hard on each of their games, and each time, they've trumped their previous efforts. No longer is Turn 10 out to play catch up in terms of content, quality and recognition. They are here to stay.

As my last post in this glorious thread, i'd like to say thank you Kazunori Yamauchi and Polyphony Digital, thank you Dan Greenawalt and Turn 10, for the great games you have produced over the years. I hope the next chapter for both games continue to deliver the awesomeness that we've come to know and love.

Tears...cries..sips on coke...ahhhhhhh..

Until the next thread...
