This is a very interesting studio, despite the fact that they have existed since 2011, they do not have their own full-fledged games. They work on the side of other studios, helping them with development.

Developer
Guerrilla Games
Studio Gobo

In this case, they helped the guys from Guerrilla Games.
Are you sure about that? Why would they make the game in UE5 instead of Decima? Looks to me like Studio Gobo made the game under supervision of Guerrilla

(Maybe they did, just confused as to why Decima wasn't used)

We will hardly ever know what part of the work each studio did. Usually they don't publish such things. Most likely, the Unreal engine was chosen because of the Switch version, writing a Decima version for it to work there is too expensive and there is no point in just for one game (Plus I'm not sure that it is even possible). They took the simplest option and bought Unreal.

Good point, forgot about Switch

Not a bad game by the way, pretty good played co-op (probably the best way to play it). And it looks very nice especially for a Lego game. 70-80 score is about right (I class 70 as a good game even though some here think that means it's shit)

I posted on every account both devs and sony have on social media trying to find any info whether there will be a ps5 pro patch, i bought their 700 new console to run this at 4k 60fps and refuse to use ps5 vanilla settings on a sony studios game post pro launch. There is a clear difference in quality between fidelity and performance and playing this at 30fps for the crisp image is frustrating to say the least. How are they not supporting the Pro at launch, H O W ?

This looks way better than Forbidden West lol. Actually might be fun to play.
I am surprised to see it's not like other lego games.
Although constant aloy yapping is annoying (from what gameplay i've seen)

Horizon had such a potential.
Apocalypse and FUCKING ROBOT DINOSAURS. WHAT COULD GO WRONG
Here enters Aloy being gay, annoying, woke(and most characters in forbidden west) and game just being boring AF.
First game was quite good. I have bigger problems with the sequel.
They really milk this IP too much

Now imagine how much cheaper to mae (free actually) and how many hundreds of thousands of people (millions possibly ccu) would play Simple bloodborne 4k60fps port. Dont even need to touch anything about it.
And if bloober touched it (without ruining it like fat officials)? bruh.
but now, lets make a game nobody wants
Bloodborne would easily hit Elden Ring numbers will all the built-in hype for it. Such a no-brainer...

Guerrilla said in an interview that a small group of people within the studio oversaw the project and were most involved in the narrative side with two people from the studio working on the game (i think that was a narrative director and a contractor), the vast majority development was carried out by Gobo.

I usually don't believe such statements, they can say a lot of things for the press, which in fact does not reflect reality. Here we just have a game that needed to be made in 3 versions at once - PS5, Switch and PC (And so we again have a situation like the GTA remaster, when all versions of the game were dumped on one small studio and do as you wish). Of course, if they pulled out all 3 versions of the game in proud solitude, I take my hat off to them. But considering the development deadlines that are usually set now, this is doubtful. I believe that Guerrilla Games most likely assigned a small group of people to this project, because if I remember correctly, they are currently busy with their new project, which clearly has a higher priority than some Lego game.

It's not painful. It's Sony losing their minds thinking that everything translate to PC 1-to1. Not all games that work on console will work in the PC space.
For sure; I recognize that not everyone has their computer hooked up to living room TV. But it's still a brilliant game.

A Bloodborne PC port will not have millions of CCUs day 1.

Most dudes dont like games with chick mc's, just like most dudes dont watch chickflicks at the theater. Plus Horizon is a boring franchise, proped up by bundle and ps+ numbers. It's not suprising that it's flopping, same as the money pit that the upcoming horizon mmo will

Using Steam CCUs against Lego Horizon out of all things is a new low.
That would be funny. But it might really happen.
Still, I bet we'll see Sony saying that this game performed bellow expectations.
Lol, Sony is not Square Enix. We will not know even if it's actually the case.
We will hardly ever know what part of the work each studio did.
Credits? I just don't see a reason for this to be any different from Firesprite's Call of the Mountain or the NCSoft MMO.
But I do feel that Guerrilla was way more involved in LHA compared to COTM.

Horizon isn’t a strong enough brand to carry a Lego game. You strip away the fancy graphics and there isn’t much to it IMO. Plus the gameplay got a massive downgrade.
