another bundle
I knew this existed, but just seeing this makes me so jealous.
another bundle
Many retailer blogs mention high preorders for Fire Emblem. First shipment is already fully reserved from retailers.
Initial shipment is estimated to be at 250k range (azalyn).

How much the other games sold?
First few on NES/SNES are the best selling ones.I was just going to ask for this, anyone got the series sales history?
Which games are which?
@chris: Is there a new shipment (200.000) for April 25? (Azalyn)
Over 200k first week would be amazing, seems like the series hasn't done that since it peaked in the SFC days.
Fire Emblem 3DS is a lock to sell 250K LT. It would be really awesome result if it sells 350K+.
28/08/99 [SFC] Fire Emblem: Thracia 776 (Nintendo) - 30.104 / 158.695
It was released when Nintendo 64 was starting to die.
I don't see FE as a title that can hit 200k+ in the first week. Sounds way too optimistic.
Guess they did hire an artist that doesn't look like his work is stuck in fantasy light novels, so maybe the folks that picked up KH will get it as their next RPG fix.
We get new numbers on Wednesday.
Google isn't always your friend.
We have given Fire Emblem sales before.

In order to not upset GEIMIN too much when they post the MC Top 1000, would it be possible to make the thread here, and then immediately move it to the Sales Archive forum?
The Sales Archive forums is only accessible to members, so it may be an easier pill for GEIMIN to take, but it'd still allow members to see the data. Just a thought.
Oh I do hope that FE opens over 200k. That is one series that deserves to grow.
Edit: It looks like if I do that, no one will be able to reply to the thread.
There seems to be a good amount of hype for it. And since it's getting it's own hardware bundle Special Pack it should be quite sought after. I know I've got a Special Pack on pre-order from NCSX and am quite excited about it as it will be my first Japanese 3DS.
At least it'd be available. Couldn't quote and copy it to another thread, either.

It looks like Nintendo is polishing the fuck out of their first party games, and its a good choice, they plenty of time to give their titles that extra bit of effort and I think sales will reflect that. Let's not forget how well Pokemon + Nobunaga is performing, and thats a better comparison than KH.If Kingdom Hearts barely did...

Do we get numbers today for next week? Japan shouldn't care too much about easter anyway.
You mean last week, right? And 4Gamer releases the Media Create numbers in 2 and a half hours.
Famitsu numbers should be out within the next hour.
Curious about the drop-off for Kingdom Hearts.
