I've actually been confused by the use of MMDDYY in this forum several times. Since I am used to think DDMMYY, it's no wonder I'd prefere that. But since as you say, this is a "pre-dominately NA forum", that wouldn't make sense either. That's why I thought having these japanese threads in the japanese date format could be the best for both parts. And why knows, we might have Japanese people on this board too?jeremy1456 said:Why would the Japanese way make sense in a pre-dominately NA forum?
Would it make sense for us all to type only in Japanese in this thread too?

If you have a whole bunch of data connected to dates, and you want them chronologically, you can only achieve that by year/month/day.Haunted said:Monster Hunter Portables entering the realm of Pokemon, Mario and DQ? Damn son.
edit: also, European smugness continues as everyone realises it's the only date format that makes some goddamn sense. Day < Month < Year

Its funny some Nintendo fans wants MH exclusive to Nintendo consoles just to "destroy" PSP and Sony, they do not buy MH and any other hardcore games, MH3rd Portable in 3 weeks already sold 3 times more than MH Tri on Wii . :lol

Exaggeration. For a exaggerated-less post, 'sold as much or worse than the wii version, bombing and price collapsing as much or worse than the wii version'.Laguna said:1.1m were sold at 100Y?

We'd probably be still waiting for it to see release, but in the imaginary case we could swap MH3 Wii for MH3 PS3 keeping other variables intact (release date, game itself, buzz, hardware sales, initial shipment) it'd have sold as much or worse, leaving 300k or more stock still to be sold with discounts after those 4 weeks.Laguna said:Since it sold 800k-900k rather quickly I doubt it was in anyway a flop like you are trying to imply, but it was indeed overshipped 1.1m first week (?) were just too much.
