Wow, what a difference a class makes. I had almost given up on PoE2 and I had stopped playing. Tonight I created a Witch and my intention was to get to Clearfell and turn the game off. I was then going to start The Witcher 3 and make that my main focus game.

Here I am in Clearfell, Devourer down, off to Grelwood, I want to level up and unlock more Spells and Minions, and I want to find strong and cool Vestments and body gear!

These endgame maps are a bit tense with what I've got. I'll finish off the 10 easier ones and try harder ones, but it's already slow going. Might be better off making another character or trying to completely follow someone else's build for a bit.

Being able to run the maps from the guild hideout instead of the laggy public base is so much better, and the button to get there from the teleport screen is very handy as a console player. Was hoping performance improvements for those tearing/jerky public spaces would have been in the patch.

Only problem with guild hideout is interacting with Doryani is almost impossible on controller unless you sneak up behind him lol.

Fixed a bug where certain rare monsters would respawn at checkpoints after consuming their corpse.

First thing I checked as I was went to get the last few in when shutdown notification popped up. Got a divine orb as a parting gift from my pal the 9th treasure <3 No idea what to do with it.

This fucking Blackjaw boss in act 3 seems like the first bullshit boss to me. Annoying af with his bullshit aoe hitboxes and im starting to hate merc and his clunky ass crossbow reloads. I cant fucking reload if i have to dodge and it makes this class so clunky to play. Im gonna wait for new classes to come out before reroll tho

I had the same issue. I beat it on the 4th try though so it wasn’t that horrible

The reload speed passives on the tree help out a lot with that, as well as the attack speed buffs too (attack speed helps reload speed).

- You have to buy it on PS5 as well
- Stash tabs bought on PC will show as "Removal only" on PS5 unless you buy them again on PS5.

Use your magic waystones to move through the map. If you only have normal ones, use the orbs to turn them magic. Use the rare waystones on the maps with bosses.

Really ? I had most fun with act 3. The maps are fun and the bosses a good challenge.

So far so good on my Merc. Just done Temple of Chaos. Rooms where pretty easy but the Bird boss 1 shot me, next 3 attempts i got the chimera thing instead and killed it once I understood its movements.
My gear is still all over the place in terms of levels but not worried until the game starts pushing back more.

I'm new to POE and just reading up on T1 T2 etc levels for gear. Anyone got a very basic break down? Is it just higher the T number the better that Roll for that modifer was?

Managed to pump up my chaos resistance from 10 to 42 thanks to trading. Still not enough, but I hope this helps me avoid being 1 shot by some chaos attacks as I was being.

It depends on the item, which is an interesting change since in PoE 1 it's reverse, and T1 is the highest.

Use a preorder traversal method through maps, meaning you just hug the left walls and run/dodge past enemies. On average you'll reach your destination while covering 50% or less of the map. I completed act 3 and cruel act 1,2 in a few hours by doing this.

You should probably be seeing 9s by endgame. Look at the high roll magic items stash tab in the guild stash to get a better idea of how tiers relate to level.

Extra way too is get a chaos charm that gets charges easy. I found a 20% one to boost occasionally.

The instances close after no one is inside for 8-15 minutes in order to reduce strain on the servers.

It's annoying sometimes, but not too hard to work around once you get used to it. If I know I'm going to be looking over my skill tree in the middle of a dungeon, I port back and do it there so it doesn't close.

Yes its unplayable laggy. Also the checkpoint seems to be broken before the high priest fight and i had to run through 2 rooms after death. I think im gonna let them cook with this. I played more than 30 hours, but some things are getting really annoying now

It wouldn't be so bad but the rate of exalted orbs is just terrible. I can see why people would just trade instead, but I'd rather not.
The last epoch system is magical, why didn't they adopt that? Diablo 4 did. It's damn near perfect and should be the gold standard going forward. This orb business is nonsensical busy work, and frustrating for the most part. Also immersion breaking, how is it "crafting" if it's random.
I think I still have the same weapons I finished act 3 with and I'm now in Act 3 cruel LOL

you can use the essences (especially the greater essences) to influence crafting a bit but yeah it's just rng at the end of the day

Never played path of exile 1 or Diablo before. Just started path of exile 2 as a ranger. Can I wing the level up/skill system until I figure out the mechanics of the game? Or should I be looking at guides to make sure I’m working towards an optimized meta build or whatever?

I figure I can just wing it and respec to something optimized when I get to the end of the game but not sure.
