Any of the hard optional bosses in the last 2 games smash everything from the old games if we talk about ingame challenge.

The actual power levels are all fucked up in the games, odin would probably being beaten by half of the greek pantheon and thor is not as strong as it should be.

I agree that the Greek gods are more powerful due to the sheer variety of their abilities, but heavy hitters like Thor, Odin, or Baldur are nothing to scoff at.

Agreed and fair. I think it most cases, Greek gods are more powerful in their innate abilities and magic, as you stated, whereas Norse gods are a bit stronger physically. In terms of the games themselves, it would indeed be a closer battle between the two pantheons.

A GOW fight between Zeus and Thor, or hell, Ares vs Thor, for example, would be insanely cool to see.
