All I will say is animation. Sex... hell affection in any way, is one of those things that sticks out like a sore thumb with regard to the uncanny valley. if animated right and presented well, it would be ok, but usually it's not, and hence cringe AF.

Seems they can never get the animation right. Even kisses often look really, really bad in almost every game. I think being able to have sex in games can be fun but I don't need to see poorly animated and super un-sexy scenes with lifeless faces of it.

It's always been cringy for me, but I'm not one of those prudish people that thinks that nudity in a game is that big of a deal either. This is one issue that I truly am indifferent about, it's not something that I need in there (I'd just watch porn, tbh - right hand is not necessarily available to play a game at that point anyway ), but I don't think it's something that needs to be hidden away. Though I know most of the world is less buttoned up in that regard than the US anyway.
