Yeah.....you want to impress me then give up your job for a minority. Otherwise, you are just talking shit. Better yet, get face to face with one of these "extremely white, extremely male" workers for Valve and explain to them why a person of a different skin color, gender identity, sexual orientation, etc. should have that job instead of them. Explain to that person why he and/or his family should be worse off for reasons that have nothing to do with the ability to do the job. If you can't make a direct personal argument then you are simply a coward hiding behind a camera for YouTube likes/subscribes.
The white person didn't say anything really about wanting diversity at valve they just reported stats and opinions from former Valve employees about what it's like to work there. The "too white" isn't even uttered in that 1 year old video as far as I can tell. It's just said that former employees gave stats that it is extremely white and extremely male but grifters have to use that 1yr old vid in the current climate for views. The title of the old vid is about what it's like working at Valve not the video creators views that it's "too white". That's it, it's just stats. somebody who might be a non-white female might want to know that info and wanting to fit in as much as the white dudes who push for diversity at all costs.

Disagree. If someone says a company has a "diversity crisis" and they are saying that it needs to be more diverse. This video is not simply reporting stats. It is an evaluation of Valve from a leftist point of view that talks just as much about politics as it does about actually working at Valve.
That's a fair point but I don't think it's an indication of the reporters point of veiw or pushing for it. It was what the former employees were saying regarding diversity being low. They were pretty balanced in their reporting of views and what was happening within Valve. If somebody reports on famine or a food crisis doesn't mean they are willing to forego their own food and not eat to give it to those affected. This is essentially what asking somebody to give up their Job for somebody else is asking them to do. You wouldn't ask the news anchor to do that either. The "crisis" affects other people not the person reporting on it. Somebody who is female and not white might not like that environment but at the very least it seems the current employees are sane intelligent people and not nazis, so they shouldn't even if they might not "fit in" as much.

No, the analogy is that the reporter is saying this group of people should get the food instead of this other group of people. That is the agenda of diversity advocates in a nutshell. Jason Schrierer loves referencing "former employees" in the same way. I think it is pretty obvious that this is pushing diversity. You don't and that's fine. We will just disagree.
Seems we disagree then. My point is that the reporter isn't the one saying this and is just reporting what former employees were saying. When a reporter is reporting on a food crisis and famine it works the same way too. They're not saying you should give your food to africa or that the news anchor is a hypocrite because they live a life of luxury. It's just reporting what the people there experienced or are going through. It's what the former employees said and it's just getting reported on by somebody. Shooting the messenger isn't the way to go.

My guess is that Valve will run itself, and the same goes for Steam. There won’t be an immediate replacement for Gabe; both will continue operating autonomously until a decline in sales forces them to appoint someone new.

It's actually interesting to see the working class called out here. I'm always amazed that in a world where money is everything, economic marginalisation is so rarely given the spotlight, despite the fact that being wealthy can basically nerf every other form of marginalisation.
