Warhammer 40K: Rogue Trader Comes To Gamepass

Never heard of this game, but saw it pop up on GamePass (my god, what's happening to me) and don't know shit about Warhammer, but it's a CRPG? Got my interest.. came to see what everyone thinks about this title.

Game is fantastic. Not quite BG3 level, but very fun. A little slow to get going in my opinion, too much reading, but once you get past that it's great. 8.5/10

I bought it on Steam rather than Game Pass, but yeah......I'm really digging it. Voice acting is great. Music is awesome. Looking forward to putting a bunch of hours into this.

What class are you planning on building?

I was following this guy's builds for the companions.

I've got about 20 hour into it and it is fun as hell.

On my first playthrough before I stopped I made a warrior/vanguard that would taunt enemies and had high parry skill. I also like the ability to knock enemies backwards slamming them into other enemies and potentially knocking them prone. his home world was a Forge World. With that you can get an ability that when you wear heavy armor enemies cant knock you down.

I haven't even scratched the surface yet. I'm putting everything into the assassin/sniper build. That's a lot of fun. That companion guide you posted is a lot of help. Highly recommend folks use it.

As with all owlcat games, I’m waiting for the deluxe edition they release usually around 2 years after the original that has all the DLCs and has gone through several rounds of bug fixes. Worked great for Kingmaker and Wrath of the Righteous.

Where is the fun in that? You do the first play through once the major patches are done. And the other in a year afterwards when DLCs are all released. Their games have a ton of different outcomes, variations, builds and so on so it’s worth it.

Anyways I highly recommend this game. It’s one of the best CRPGs released in the last 10 years (alongside Pathfinder and BG3).

Very good build to go after. I know there eventually is a companion that you get that is this class but .... lets just say that I didn't keep that companion around so I was extra happy I went sniper rogue trader. Crimelord too for mine
