Season 2 Lol GIF by Insecure on HBO

From only 4 games to this...community is pathetic

Those are the marching orders from ms 😆

They are scared to death their fanbase will be moving over to playstation.

The reality is, that is what will happen on mass, most console audience are casuals who want simple.
This is exactly what it is. Everyone knows Sony will be doing day and date for their GAAS titles, this isn’t news at all and it’s been happening since the start of the gen. Sony has come out multiple times this gen and said their plans very clear are for GAAS to go to PC day one and their single player games to stay exclusive on their consoles for some time before later going to PC.

Windows Central knows this and this is their attempt at trying to stop the bleeding that is currently going on at team Xbox. The Xbox platform is dying but it’s not enough MS fucked themselves over and killed their console brand but Sony has to be doing it too. It’s the classic bullshit we’ve been seeing from them and other MS shill sites and fanboys on social media for more than a year now….

“Looks guys, Xbox may be dying but Sony too will join them soon enough! Things aren’t as bad as they seem, Sony Too!!”

The shit is an old and tired attempt at damage control that isn’t working and will never work.

Gaas already launching day and date, some story based games like Until Dawn and Lego Horizon are also day 1, and the gap for marquee releases has gotten smaller over the last few years.

Has it gotten smaller, though?

It’s more random than it is smaller. And stuff held back got pushed forward due to pc leakers

the consequences of their ongoing strategy (GaaS/First-party at a later date) will not be known until 3-4 years after this generation is over.

everything said about Xbox's failed strategy applies to PS. the only difference is that PS is in a position of power... 🤔. maybe they can get away with it. but i think in general, it would be a zero sum game.

I bought a sex doll, but I keep it inflated 100% of the time and use it like a regular wife
Then I don’t see them doing day and date on PC
Me neither. I think a Rockstar-like strategy of delaying SP games for a year or so to take advantage of double-dippers would be the smartest approach business-wise.

Just don't delay them too much, or else the hype would fade away completely resulting in low sales, like the one's Square saw with FFXVI.

PC games have tons of games available. You either take advantage of the hype effect or you eat dick. I guess it's a complicated thing to balance.

My guess they heard some big xbox games about to drop on ps or some other shit that got them spooked. The general reaction to anything negative Xbox from Xbox fanbase is Sony too.

It's random, yes, but SM2 is coming in 1 year 3 month, which is a lot shorter than their somewhat held previous 2 year gap.
The feeling back 2+ years ago was that SM2 would come to PC within a year of release, I am sure I am on record of saying that if I felt going searching for it

But I fully expect that window to continue to shrink
