Xbox announces new Wireless Headset

That's the pulse 3d and yes they aren't great I agree but the pulse elite are a lot better
I'm just going off the old models. Haven't tried either new model yet.
That's fine if you disagree. I don't know why you replied further and with a photo as if I needed (or asked) for proof of anything. I have both headsets and prefer the PS one.

All there is to it.

And I find the PS one simply too quiet, if it wasn't for that fact alone it would be good

Are you serious - that's the default? Hahaha I don't play online much anymore and I have voice chat disabled at a system level on Xbox and PlayStation... that's crazy man.
Default on when you first buy the console. It's not that crazy though. There is a button on the actual controller and if you press it to mute it's saved as muted for any other session. Pretty stupid thing to complain about by Calverz especially considering you were talking about an accessible mute button between wanting to talk and not. That's exactly what's built into the controller by default. Nobody on COD has it on without intentionally wanting it on though, they're not stupid to not realise it's on after using it and just hitting mute on the pad.

Closed back the SteelSeries Arctic Novas are very good

Open backs give a wider soundstage for me personally and no closed back headphones can reproduce that

The wider soundstage just makes things sound more 3 dimensional to me

Interesting, I wouldn't think that having an open back would create that effect.

I already have those steel series I think. I'm not a fan at how easy it is to bump the volume wheels on the side when you put them on and take them off.
