Critical meltdown as fanboys rush to defend it.
Can't wait for this to happen. Though is someone seriously defending this shit in this thread? I haven't seen a post yet.
Critical meltdown as fanboys rush to defend it.
I'm a hardcore gamer and I live in the boonies of Connecticut.
I'm not sure which GAF hates more
- The idea of second hand games being blocked
- An always-online console
I can't wait for companies to start cracking down on Twitter usage. This is getting ridiculous.
Holy shit! Looks like always online is confirmed.
Who?
Remember the used games comments + its series of events?

Weeellll....
Why on earth would you live there?
What a dumb comment.
What, you're not from a hip, techie liberal west coast city? Fuck off!

It's pretty much villainy at this point. This is about as anti-consumer as you can get.All the arrogance rubbed off of Sony.
He's not good with Consumer Relations. Let's hope for Microsoft sake that he's better as a Creative Director.
The thing about always online is, how does that benefit me? Why does the system have to be always online? What does it do that's so compelling that I have to be connected? I can't for the life of me think of any possible reason I would give two shits about.
Welp. I think it's settled. Next XBOX won't be coming in first in any territory.

XBOX DURANGO: BECAUSE YOU WOULDN'T BUY A VACUUM CLEANER IF THE POWER WENT OUT
I'm damn sure the person who gave a favorite to his last comment works at MS Studios too. Microsoft Defense Force on full attack mode.
I might gain a tiny bit of respect back for Microsoft if they fire this guy

What are the benefits of online required ? I mean, is it that unreasonable to expect to be able play a game if, through no fault of your own, the Internet connection goes down ? What the fuck are they thinking

Their is plenty of unreliable Internet providers in the us. More rural areas could abandon the Xbox. I really don't get the thinking behind such stupid comments. I hope someone disciplines him for making comments like this to concerned consumers. I'm a fan of Xbox but this crap leaves a bad taste in my mouth. I might be a one console gamer next gen. Their announcement better be good to get people interested.Sony is a truly international company while MS is really mostly a US operation. They know their products can and will be used in places without reliable internet.
If Kotaku is right, 3 minutes of no connection and you're out of the apps or games.

If there's a vacuum cleaner that works even when the electricity goes out, I'd buy that vacuum cleaner instead.
So I guess I'm gonna buy a PS4.
Yeah, fire this guy. He's either trolling us or he's just a complete idiot.
Why doesn't my vacuum cleaner have achievements yet?!
I don't usually agree with gif responses but...
