I would imagine Sony would target holiday season 2026 for their handheld. I don't expect we'll see it until CES next year at the earliest. We won't see anything PS6 for a long long time.

Whats to expect for something TBC should be the name of this thread, because this is incredibly stupid.

Only interested in GTA VI and that's likely to be 2026 now. Once I've played it then my PS5 is getting sold/given away. Won't need it.

Out of that list:

Ghost and GTA VI are day 1.

Death Stranding 2, maybe.

Marathon, FairGame$, SSM game, Horizon MMO and FF, I need to see something first.

Intergalactic is a no-buy after that actress had to tweet that 'U mad bro' meme.

The rest idc about.

Which is all fine by me.

I bought a sex doll, but I keep it inflated 100% of the time and use it like a regular wife
Kingdom Come 2
Monster Hunter Wilds
Crimson Desert

Put those on the list and it'll looks less grim.

I doubt most of those make 2025. Especially if GTA6 does.

GTA has more chance than Bend's next game.

I love that you put all the third party releases on there, as if those aren't coming to other platforms

People like to pretend like there aren't any games... not even exclusive to ps5, we've never in history had more quality games released across the industry so consistently.

Generally, there is a big game coming out every 6 weeks or so.

Last year saw

Astro Bot
Helldivers 2
FF7 Rebirth
Silent Hill 2
Dragon's Dogma 2
Persona 3 Reload
Black Myth Wukong
Destiny 2 Final Shape
Gran Blue Fantasy
Metaphor Refantazio
Hades 2
Tekken 8
Zelda Echoes of Widsom
Paper Mario 1000 year door
Batman Arkham Shadow
Marvel Rivals

and more...

All these people who say there are no good games, I wonder if they played any of these games, if they play games at all...

What? Me?

Then you ask them what games came exclusive to their platform of choice and then they rant about something else.

What to expect for 2025 on PS5? Well, the usual on Playstation, the entire multi-catalog + the firsts that Xbox releases on it + some third-party exclusives + a couple of powerful AAAs like DS2 and Ghost of Yotei, the icing on the cake will be whether GTA6 comes out or not, we'll see, but it's a powerful year.

So a lot of games on other platforms and baldy mcspace adventure.
I am pro exclusive content because I think it adds value to a brand (and console of choice). However, that does not mean you remove third-party games from lists of available games on a console. People have shown over the years to prefer the PlayStation for most third-party games.

AI generated article? Intergalactic seems unlikely, but Physint in 2025? A new final fantasy game? Is Venom even a thing anymore? New Sony Bend game?

And who decided to put Fairgame$ in most anticipated?!

Excited for:
Yotei
DS2
Mafia (though I doubt it's coming this year)
GTA 6
Hollowknight: Silksong (Fingers crossed)
Wolverine
Phantom Blade Zero
Wuchang
Indiana Jones (waiting for Ps5 release)
Kingdome Come 2
Monster Hunter: Wilds

BTW the new Bend game got canceled, so dont expect nothing from Bend untill the PS6 comes out.

Microsoft will be filling a demand for more games on Playstation which is hilarious. In a way Sony was allowed to take their risk in gaas because upon failure they would just absorb all the Xbox games to backfill anyway lol. Back to third party support Sony while they regroup.
