I will say, the one "advantage" anime has is that tears can be more pronounced than they are in live action. Yeah, you can get actors who can do the single tear, but you'd be hard pressed to engineer a shot like that without using a water dropper or something.
This is like the most :firehawk relationship ever though. It's like emotional torture-porn for everyone in the cast (except the megane sister I suppose).

Finally opened up the blu rays Ive had since, well I guess a year ago. Black Star still the best character and sounds so good dubbed. He's like my favorite personality for these protagonists and all his lines against Mifune, lol. Really wish they revisit this franchise again.
