Since getting into PC gaming I haven't preordered anything in a long time. No physical goodies, either.


All animals are adurable to a certain extent.

I've gotten to the point where all my games are just clutter and I wish I could give them away yet still have the ability to play them. So I've been steadily moving to digital except in cases of console exclusives and Nintendo games because their account system is fucked.

I don't preorder often. I haven't tried to online. I have an aversion to buying online because I can't see what I'm getting until after the payment and shipment of the game is said and done.

It didn't occur to me that there would be video game shortages I guess until I learned about Retsupurae/the Best Friends and importing games.

I've been collecting video games for a pretty long time. You don't have problems with mainstream titles, but there are legitimate reasons to pre-order certain collector's editions or some niche titles. Hell, Majora's Mask 3DS CE is a prime example. It sold out in an hour. If you didn't pre-order, you're not getting it.

I pretty much exclusively buy online. If something doesn't look the way I want it, I can return it for free with no hassle. In the case of Best Buy, I can even return it in store.

I thought Super Meat Boy was okay, it felt like it was missing something. It had a lot of challenge, but not much else. Still a great game though.

In fact, I'm pretty sure it's fake because that's not how Gamestop's reservation system works. You can't cancel a pre-order at a different Gamestop from where you made it. Each Gamestop store has its own electronic inventory that isn't captured at another Gamestop. He wouldn't be able to go to one of his other "Gamestop ATMs" and make a withdrawal unless he had pre-orders waiting for him there.

That is correct, but he could also place preorder at multiple Gamestops and spread his money around that way.

I think they are independently managed, so unless there was an unified system, the districts wouldn't be able to tell the difference.

It has completely spoiled me on 2d platformers. The range of control, speed, momentum, and creative level design just feels superb.

I don't know, the reason why I love Rayman games is how different each world/ Level feels, each one has its own personality. There is at least two levels in every world that I remember in detail. That and I actually really like the art style.

Their plans for the new year seems much more organized and the LPs are so much more better than initial ones.

I'll double dip on occasion for some series but not for others. I've done it for RE, for MGS, for FF and for Mario games.

I never bought a game 3 times and do not intend to do so.

But yeah Joe, buying consoles just for another copy of the same game doesn't sound healthy.
