I started playing ESO again, so I guess I'll join the EU guild.
It'll be really shitty if they don't give a code to everyone who has taken them up on the console upgrade offer, considering we've already bought the game on their website.
been a long time here we go

Are we going to have an EU PS4 guild etc??
I just upgraded my PC version to a console version. Really looking forward to this, because I think the game was pretty good but now with a controller on the big tv will be even better.
I don't believe they're planning to do that, sorry.
There's a two step beta - closed beta for 2013 sign ups, and open beta later.
I don't expect them too, but it's still shitty if they don't. There is no reason for them not to give beta access to people who have already purchased. If you've already pre-purchased the console version, then you're clearly intending on playing the game and are excited enough about it to buy it already. Therefore, more likely to put many hours into the beta and provide them with the feedback they want.
Greetings,
The dwellers of Tamriel thank you for taking time from your adventures to report this offense. Maintaining the integrity of the land is a priority. We will investigate this matter and take appropriate action.
To protect individual privacy, we do not disclose the outcome of our investigation.
Guild Banks are a wonderful way to share items with other guild members, but they also require vigilance.
In order to deposit and withdraw items from the guild bank, accounts must be given permission via the Ranks tab in the Guild window.
As it is up to the guild to determine who has access to the guild bank, it is up to the guild to police any deposits or withdrawals from its bank. The History tab of the guild window can be used to review who has added and removed items from the bank.
We are not able to restore items taken by members of the guild that were taken due to rank and/or permissions.
Thank you for your continued interest and support!
Warm Regards,
The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited Team
I'd already pre purchased it for PC and they didn't let me in the betamissed out on a monkey pet because of that
couple more screens
is the last shot (third one) modified by any third-party shaders or effects?
Yeah, it sucks. They should be rewarding their loyal customers with access, not someone who signed up for this thing months ago that may not even bother downloading it.
Zenimax Online Studios are struggling financially (like, a lot). The original beta had 5 million signups (as per ZOS). They need those people who didn't buy the game to consider buying the game. If customers have already paid for the game, they've got the money.
I know this sucks from a consumer point of view, but just wanted to give some logic to it.
Great point.
You're getting me worried about Zeni. Is there a chance they could get bought out? would hate to see a closed for business situation![]()
Ultimately as a Big Corp(tm) they will be fine. I know people who worked there, they all got laid off - officially ZOS said they didn't lay off developers in their press release, 'just' customer service etc - but in reality they laid off developers, graphics people etc etc. You can watch the numbers drop yourself by watching their LinkedIn page: https://uk.linkedin.com/company/zenimax-online-studios
From a gamer point of view, ZOS and the game will survive. How? If the console release doesn't sell, they could go free to play and sell more in crown store. Star Wars Online proved this is profitable. However, ZOS don't want to do this because ultimately they had a huge cash injection by venture capital funds back in 2007 with the goal of becoming the next Blizzard, the next premium MMO company. They don't want to be a free to play developer really - these people have corporate overlords who own Elder Scrolls and Fallout, two of gamings biggest multi-billion dollar franchises.
Worth noting Skyrim sold ~30m copies on console -- it was absolutely HUGE -- so you can bet where all development focus is right now. And rightly so.
Yea I'd really hate this game to go F2P, just a personal preference but I really don't enjoy F2P models.
Makes me wonder why they're struggling so badly financially. Wonder how badly ESO's poor launch has hurt them. I'd like to say this game is going to be amazing on PS4/XB1. Hope that's enough to keep them afloat and the developers funded to keep creating content.
What's funny though is how it appears to have been more successful than Wildstar which had a lot less going against it.
Michael Gambon is the best part about this game, shame he cant do voice acting anymore ):
He can't?
Anyone planning on putting together a NA GAF Guild on XB1? If not I may form one on the Daggerfall side.

hep, I guess they're looking at a certain gold/item selling MMO website I won't name (which plagued the game with spam at launch) and seeing what's popular. Motif's were selling for real money on that site, so I figure it's a nice market for them.
Sooo, the Imperial motif costs 5000 crowns... but you can also buy the Imperial Edition upgrade which comes bundled with the motif for 2,100 crowns?
Can I be a commanding officer?Come launch I will be forming a GAF guild on the Daggerfall side on XB1 NA server. Hopefully we can get a big enough group going for it.
Can I be a commanding officer?
Only if you team kill Smokey in the next shooter we play at least once.
Since I was in the beta, I got a free weekend invite and after downloading it (Jesus that download took forever, like 4 hours or something crazy) I played for a few hours and actually kind of liked it. It has improved significantly since I played it in beta. It just feels and looks significantly better from what I remember of it. I think I will give this a shot on ps4 since I think this game will work really well with a controller and this feels like a good game to come home to and do a couple of quests after a long day at work just to relax.
How was performance compared to the PC?
Any other console users get their emails telling them their beta code is coming soon?
Really looking forward to giving this a try.
