Are you for real?
1) Put your eyes in the place where you have seen this weeks hardware sales.
2) Move your eyes a bit to the right.
3) Read
Ah, I get it now. Reading comprehension is not your forte.
It's okay. I was responding to your "really?"
Am I missing something from all the "poor Vita" posts?
Hey, calm down, english isn't my main language so at least, try to ease my difficulties. I didn't knew it did 14k last week, so yes it didn't dropped and that's a good thing. But still I think 15k is really far from enough considering what happened (price drop and games.)
I'm not rebutting your opinion. Just pointing you the number and where to find it.
I should've written a after forte.
Damn, thought as much. Just didn't expect such good sales from that kind of game.Probably a visual novel for women and/or gay men based on the art and publisher.

I would have expected the WiiU to be tracking below the PS3 by this point in its lifetime launch aligned. The PS3 didnt hit the lows the WiiU hit this early IIRC. No matter though, streams will cross soon enough.
Let's be fair, where would the Vita be now if it weren't for the price cut? It would be doing sub-10K numbers. If the price cut will increase the userbase which increases software sales, that would be a better result than selling very little hardware and less software sales.
You forgot to add in Vita Heavens.
The text-to-speech in Tomodachi Collection is really, really closely tied to how the language works. It is way easier to simulate sounds for each character of writing than it would be in any romance language.
It would not be strictly speaking impossible to make a TTS English version, but it would not sound anywhere near as good and, thus, would probably not catch on. Not to mention how dependent the game is on just randomly meeting people, a feature that leans heavily in to Japanese commuter culture more.
wait wait wait this is like a way to meet random people? sounds like wechat and no i don't charge $400 an hour there.... $375. $600 for two.
I've been trying to figure that out. Does anyone know why the PS3 was so much more successful (weekly sales past launch I mean) at the same point? It's not like it had any software. Was it just the PlayStation name? Were there big enough games announced to coerce people into buying? I've heard that Torne's a PS3 seller, but it wasn't out in 2007.
Look at the launch of the 3DS then look at the system in August and what they changed. The performance and handling of the 3DS makes Nintendo's incompetent WiiU launch utterly baffling.
I don't understand how the same company can nail it with one side of its business and completely botch the other.
No games. Not a single fucking game in Japan. For weeks and weeks and weeks. Incompetent.

It's like they are just a broken record on their launch plans.
Yeah I don't get it. Iwata said they "learned a painful lesson" with the 3DS and the price cut.
Obviously not. I am predicting an equally painfully WiiU price cut.
Ugh. Maybe I will be getting some more free VC games out of it.

Yes but, hey! people here are celebrating the quantity in numbers of consoles, not on money that Sony is losing/earning.
And I want to make clear that this doesn't mean Vita is dooooooooooooomed, but the fact that I'm sad because it doesn't even make any sense to have that price cut if you are not going to get a lot better.
In the matter of Todamachi, oh boy, I expect Iwata to bring this game to see what is all this fuss about.
Awww damn, that's pretty crazy - how were the legs of the previous entry

I corrected a typo on the Vita thing: I had put yellow as "ports", but it is "others"; blue is "ports".
You both quoted the wrong version. Shame on me.
Were did Run for the Money come from? Just when you think you saw the last of the game it shows back up. It would be crazy to see the game hit 500k.

They should release a sequel right now. It's a big IP these days, and they should capitalize as soon as possible, since the popularity of the show won't last.

Sakamoto must be happy. Maybe Iwata will greenlit Other M 2.
And after doing this crazy move he'll finally retire.

Honestly did not expect the WiiU to decrease. PS3 is also pretty low too. The only healthy system hardware wise is the 3DS but the PS3 has the excuse of being 7 years old something the Vita and WiiU do not have.
Price is not a problem when you have software. And being fairly high priced. Basic WiiU is cheaper than PS3 lol.
"Hey, look over there."Am I missing something from all the "poor Vita" posts?
If that's the lesson they learned, they went to the wrong class. And if that's the lesson they learned then it's no wonder the Wii U is floundering.I think they thought to have learned the lessons, that's why they launched the platform with a Mario game
Presumably, you're talking about Japan and perhaps what you're saying would have improved sales (although given the lackluster performance of G&W, and that Monster Hunter is already on the system, I don't see by much), premised on some people actually still wanting to buy a system on a Wii Fit upgrade.Mario was ok as a launch game, but they should have added Game & Wario and a new IP like The Wonderful 101. Then Wii Fit U in January, Pikmin 3 in February and March would have been ok with Monster Hunter and Lego.
