So I'm finding that the Destroy the Encampment missions when you finish with the 5 needed for the quest you start doing super encampments as a bonus and the chest these yield at the end have some amazing rewards. One gave me 20 batteries and 5 rotating gizmos!

I got my copy for free and after a week I'm loving it and the ability to play on either PC or PS4 with the same data. It was well worth the $20 to upgrade.

Just got to Plankerton, level 19, probably put at least 30 hours into this already. I am overall enjoying the game but damn they need to fix some shit. I understand with the style of game that it is there are concessions to be made. Like I dont expect the game to give me a ton of the rarer crafting mats regularly or always reward me with exactly what I want (seriously stop giving me fucking melee weapons every Llama). My biggest issues are listed below:

-let me access my backpack outside of missions as well as craft. Sucks to get into a mission and THEN have to craft

-please for the love of god let me navigate the skill tree menu without it clicking on every single node. So annoying when you get deep into a tree and have to fight to get to the end cause it drags over every skill (that you've already unlocked no less).

-somehow condense the menus. I dont honestly have an answer as to how, but they need to make it more friendly to navigate and possibly merge a few of them.

-add new dialogue and mission variety. Again I know with the type of game I shouldn't expect some Witcher level of depth, but if I have to hear the robot and Lars talk about God's of Olympus or spraying a vinyl one more time I'm gonna snap. Not asking much, but at least mask it where it feels like I'm sorta doing something different. First mission in Plankerton is ride the lightning with the EXACT same dialogue exchange. It kinda killed the progression aspect of it for me.

- have a shop we can sell extra resources to, or at least a way to possibly exchange them for V-bucks. I have so much common resources that I just started dropping it as soon as I get into a game, which furthers the team aspect sure but id like to maybe get some sorta reward for my gathering.

-let us choose which skin we use regardless of rarity. I got a legendary pathfinder and while the upgraded look is cool I wish I could at least toggle between the ones i had before.

-this is more of a complaint but I wish when you went to a new area it just expanded onto your previous home base. I had a ton of cool ideas and was working towards it and now I'm in a totally different area starting from scratch. Would've been awesome by late game to have a huge fortress that you've been working on from the start and slowly adding onto as you progress.

-let us move traps once placed. I'm okay with losing the resource on walls and floors if we break them (should give back a small percentage though) but traps make no sense and it really blows due to the resource cost to craft them.

-FUCK THE STAMINA BAR FOR RUNNING! Im okay with it draining due to special abilities cause that's a nice system, but in a game where I'm required to be running around like a mad man collecting resources and fighting off massive hoards my character should NOT get tired due to running. I'm okay with different characters having a smaller STAMINA pool, but it should not drain due to sprinting, shit is garbage.

-allow us to vote people. I know this will be unpopular but doing late defense missions with one player just wandering around is really annoying when we are struggling cause they are looking for garden nomes.

That's all I can think of off the top of my head, I'll update if something else comes to me.

Yaaaap.

This and that people follow you around when you go looking for chests just to "ninja" them as you fight or try to get to it. Shit sucks, wish it counted like the stormchest and just gave everyone in the area loot or something.

For being a team game it does promote dick moves and egotistical trips during looting.

I've totally burnt myself out on this already.

It's my own stupid fault, binging for 10 hours straight today.. Together with the 15 free llamas, I got with the limited edition, and 15 more free ones, i've opened so fucking many of them at this point already, I'm sick of them. I've got a bunch of legendary stuff already, coupled with the 2 i got for free. a mystic survivor, a fuck barrel of heros. I'm just kind of done. Level 20 collectors book already, I know I'm nowhere near end game stuff, but I did join a few 30+ games and yeah.. I feel like I've seen all there is to see already. maxed out my main though i haven't got to the node yet that allows me to evolve him

I should have just got the standard edition and taken it slowly. I'm gonna be a little shit and get a refund and maybe get back into it like a normal person in 2018 when its FTP, I can't justify spending 100+US on this.

So it looks like if you buy the game from EPIC's website the game is on sale and the cheapest pack is $20 instead of $40. Does anyone know if this is a limited time sale or something? I've been thinking of grabbing this in the next month or so, but I don't want to miss the out on the $20 version if it's a limited time thing.

Not sure. I've done 2-3 of the plankerton ones, and up to 8 in stonewood. The biggest issue for me is just running out of damn ammo. You have to kill soooo many husks. I had to diversify my weapons so none took the same ammo.

Not sure about the PC list. I'd be happy to group up though.

Why not just continue? Sounds like there's still plenty left for you to do anyway.

Because I'm a manchild who bought the most expensive version in excitement and now regret my purchase. I know it's awful, I do. I'm within my rights as a consumer to do it though. And it's Epic, not a small indy studio. it's alot of money man!. The standard edition will do, all my shit will get wiped though and I'll have to start over.

Just really don't feel like I'm going to be getting $115's dollars worth of fun out of this. It's not gonna ween me off warframe. I'll just stop playing it in a month i can feel it.

So for those worried about how much resources it'll cost to upgrade to levels 2 and 3 of structures in your main base.

Do yourself a favour and every 2-3 missions when you're close to 500+ of materials because you farmed the shit out of everything like you should be doing for the start of the missions while doing objectives put those stacks in your storm defense storage.

It stacks up to 999 in there and before you know it you'll have enough mats to upgrade your bases. Do this in between getting the tiers upgrades for level 2 to 3 and it should be totally possible to upgrade most of your stuff in a short amount of time!

If your still stuck at 5 storage slots for storm base go down the builder line a bit more which you'll need anyway for upgraded structures and get the +5 to storm shield storage. With 10 slots you can put plenty of Wood, metal, and stone in there!

Got a pretty nice haul off the Llama's. An legendary lead survivor and another standard legendary survivor were the highest rarity but I'm really pleased with the epic sword and epic Sarah! Also got a bunch of extra Heroes too.

In the second area, the power levels are lvl 19 missions and then the next option it 34?? The 19 stuff is pretty snoozeworthy but I'm assuming 34 would be impossible at level 18?

I was also pretty bummed to see I had to start over on the storm shield building, that's pretty blah. I had made my Stonewood base pretty elaborate.

I haven't had too many trolls but totally agree with this. The game should always be focused on people working together.

No, there are 23 and 29 missions

Epic has to redesign the missions, makes no sense to rescue 40 survivors when you get the same loot as you did with 10 survivors. Or the same thing with the big monsters.

I believe the mission rewards do scale up with the difficulty, but the XP rewarded definitely does.

Oh, you're talking about the quests with different stages.
